The holiday season is once again just around the corner, and the BSO is back with a selection of live concerts which celebrate the very best of Christmas music for the festive period.
The Last Night of the Christmas Proms sees us showcasing orchestral classics, traditional Christmas numbers new and old, and a selection of Broadway and West End hits and our choral offering of Handel’s Messiah gifts a traditional celebration. And you can join in with the singing yourself in our ever-popular Celebration of Christmas Carols – a final heart-warming way to prepare for the big day itself!
And spin into the New Year with a flourish with the swirling majesty and joyous sounds of the traditional Viennese Gala. This concert features a selection of waltzes, polkas and marches by the Viennese waltz-king, Johann Strauss II – the perfect start to your 2026.
