We are now on sale, with concerts in Poole, Exeter, Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Bristol, Truro, Basingstoke and venues across the South and West. We promise some truly terrific evenings of symphonic magic.

BSO Chief Conductor Mark Wigglesworth conducts highlights including symphonies by Elgar, Shostakovich and Zemlinsky’s Lyric Symphony as well as a selection of works by Dani Howard, including a UK premiere of her Saxophone Concerto with Jess Gillam. We are thrilled to welcome British baritone Roderick Williams as this season’s Artist-in-Residence. One of the finest artists of his generation, he will join us in three programmes including a special recital of English songs inspired by Schubert’s Winterreise song cycle.

Principal Guest Conductor Chloé Van Soeterstède joins us for Saint-Saëns’ unforgettable Organ Symphony and Korngold’s spirited Violin Concerto with Ning Feng and many other familiar faces including Kirill Karabits, Sunwook Kim, Elisabeth Brauß and Sir Stephen Hough will also be taking to stage.
