Singing in a choir is a brilliant way to meet new people and it has been proven to instill a sense of happiness and increase wellbeing.
Hooray! We’re back singing together for our Autumn 2021 term.
The repertoire includes reprising some of the fantastic virtual performances over the past year, including Over The Rainbow, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Shoulder To Shoulder, My Fair Lady and Put On Your Sunday Clothes plus some other favourites from our back catalogue and perhaps also a Christmas bonus!
The choir usually performs at least three times a year together with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor, Pete Harrison. There are no auditions to join and the ability to read music is not essential. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7.15-9.30pm at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, Hill Lane, Southampton, SO15 5RL
Choir members enjoy being part of the BSO family, sharing experiences in rehearsal and on the concert platform, with social events alongside plenty of tea, biscuits and fun.
What a brilliant day and to add to the collection of such wonderful memories that will last for ever - thank you. Can't wait for the next one.
