Hailing from Camden in North London, Enyi studied Law at Bristol University, where he was also much involved in the local music scene (conducting the Bristol University Symphonia for three and a half years, as well as the Bristol University Chamber Orchestra). Enyi then went on to study an MA in Orchestral Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music from September 2022 – July 2024.
Enyi currently holds the Derek Butler Award for his studies at the Royal Academy of Music. This award is offered as part of the Named Award programme at the Royal Academy of Music, offered on the basis of individual merit during the audition process.
As well as recently accepting the position of Calleva Assistant Conductor at the BSO, Enyi is currently Conductor-in-Residence for London Schools Symphony Orchestra, Lead Artist at ARK Music and Conducting Fellow at Havant Symphony Orchestra.
Passionate about working with young people and fostering the next generation of talent, in 2021 Enyi founded Elysium Music, an initiative dedicated to collaborative projects between young professional musicians and children. Enyi is also currently conductor of the Camden Youth Choir.
In his spare time Enyi enjoys all things outdoors, including cycling, hiking, and camping. He is also especially keen on travelling and is aiming to visit as many countries as possible (currently on 33!). Enyi is also a big football follower and being a North Londoner, a massive Arsenal fan!
