Leonard Elschenbroich has been described by the New York Times as “a musician of great technical prowess, intellectual curiosity and expressive depth”. Leonard performs as a soloist with the world’s leading orchestras, which has taken him all across the world. He recently made his Asian debut at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, and his US debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Leonard is a champion of contemporary music, and commissioned several new works from composer such as Mark-Anthony Turnage, a composer the BSO have worked with in recent years.
