2022/23 Concert Season announced
We are delighted to announce our 2021/22 Concert Season, beginning with 11 concerts in the autumn from October to December. Kirill kicks things off with music by Bizet and Mussorgsky; joined by pianist Louis Schwizgebel in Ravel’s capricious Concerto in G and he also brings an all-American concert and a host of symphonic gems by the great German/Austrian masters – Mozart, Schumann, Brahms and Bruckner. We are thrilled that German horn soloist Felix Klieser will be this season’s BSO Artist-in-Residence and Sunwook Kim returns with his long awaited conducting debut featuring a celebration of Beethoven. We welcome back conductors Andrew Litton, James Feddeck, Mark Wigglesworth and Ryan Wigglesworth before finishing with a Christmas selection of Baroque favourites conducted by Laurence Cummings.
