The Kingdom is perhaps Elgar’s greatest choral work, performed in full alongside Oxford Bach Choir and four exceptional soloists.
Astonishing in its drama yet gentle in places, this oratorio sees Elgar take texts from the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles to continue the narrative of the Apostles and community of the early church.
This performance is the second part of the Oxford Bach Choir’s two year Elgar Project.
