A specialist support-led 6-week programme which focuses on music making to positively impact mental health and wellbeing. These sessions offer the opportunity to listen, create and play music alongside other people in a safe and supportive environment.

No musical experience is required to attend, and a selection of percussion instruments will be provided. If participants have instruments at home, they are encouraged to bring them to sessions, regardless of whether they know how to play them or not.

If participants don’t feel comfortable making music with everyone, they have the chance to speak to the team to find out more about how to play and also what styles of music can inspire and improve an individual’s mood.

Sessions led by Matt Harrison, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s Bodmin based Associate Musician.
