Carol Paige Section Principal
Carol is a musician trustee and has been a member of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for 16 years. She grew up in Somerset and studied at Cardiff University where she graduated with a first class honours degree. For her postgraduate she studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where, along with her PGDip, she was awarded the prestigious DipRAM, the Academy’s highest award for an outstanding final recital. Carol has played as a guest principal 2nd violin with a number of the UK’s orchestras, including the RLPO, CBSO, BBCNOW, WNO, Northern Sinfonia and the Orchestra for the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Outside of the BSO Carol is a mum and a keen horse rider. She enjoys the stunning scenery of the purbecks and is often found out on the coastal path walking, or on her paddle board out on the water.
