A few weeks ago we travelled to North Devon with cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, who played Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1 at Queen’s Theatre, Barnstaple as well as leading an assembly at a local school.
It was a memorable and exciting day and a great opportunity for students to ask Sheku questions and find out more about his musical journey. Sheku was accompanied by our Assistant Conductor Tom Fetherstonhaugh on the day. Here are a few images…
