Exmouth – Music for Salmon Gathering (Session 1)

Making music to welcome the salmon gathering from the seas all around, calling them home to our river Exe.

Sideshore, Exmouth

9.45am: Arrive

10am: Workshop

11.30am: Performance outdoors at Sideshore, weather permitting, of approx. 10 minutes

 

Dulverton – Music for Arriving  (Session 2)

Making joyous music to celebrate the arrival of the runners and salmon at the end of their journey.

Where

Dulverton, Exmouth Lawns by the river 

Time

3.30pm until about 6pm: flexible timings as runners arrive

 

What to bring:

Emma will bring musical starting points to create spontaneous music with her support. Bring your own instrument, or borrow one of ours, and bring your enthusiasm.

 

About Emma

Emma is a violinist, composer, and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Associate Musician. She runs Exeter’s Community Family Orchestra (AKA The Earthlings), and she has spent a lot of time making and listening to music—both above and below water. She will be joined by flautist Viv Goodwin.
