14 live musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will bring to life the feeling when we journey from night to day. From mystical creatures and serene dreams, through to the breaking of a new day and the sun shining down on us.
Let’s start with a bedtime story and journey through the magical and mystical night sky. Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Sleeping Beauty and Hushabye Mountain from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang evoke the magical and mystical night sky before Good Morning from Singing in the Rain and Dawn from Bonds’ Montgomery Variations sees the sun rise and the dawn chorus begin.
With so much more throughout – from Haydn’s Symphony No.8 to Walking on Sunshine – there is music for everyone to enjoy!
This 60 minute relaxed performance is welcome to everyone! Audience members are welcome to bring along their own blanket, make noise and move in and out of the space during the performance as needed.
