We're delighted to announce a return to Lymington as summer begins. These dementia-friendly events feature musicians from the Orchestra performing well-known classics for all to enjoy with a piece of cake, a hot drink and good company. This is a relaxed performance with guests free to chat or move whilst the music is playing.
Boldre War Memorial Hall is in the heart of the village of Pilley – an accessible and spacious venue, with ample parking, located within the breathtaking scenery of the New Forest.
These cake concerts have been developed specifically for those living with dementia, their families, and carers, but everyone is welcome. Guests will be treated to a mixture of classical and popular favourites performed by the Teatime Trio, with tea, coffee and cake included in the ticket price.
Between pieces, the musicians introduce their instruments and repertoire, whilst during the 30-minute interval, cakes and hot drinks will be served.
