We're delighted to announce the first of three Cake Concerts for the new season. As winter approaches, join the Teatime Trio for a specially curated seasonal programme at St. Martin's House, Gillingham. The programme offers the audience a broad collection of classical and popular favourites and the ticket price includes a warm drink and cake, served by a team of friendly staff and volunteers.
These relaxed dementia-friendly concerts, feature a trio of musicians from the Orchestra performing well-known classics. The Cake Concerts are open for all to attend, and include an interval of 30 minutes with a hot beverage. This is a social occasion so members of the audience are free to chat and respond as they wish, whilst the performance takes place.
We take a relaxed approach to chatting, singing or moving to the music and we ask everyone present to be supportive of this. All are welcome, whether living in the community or in a care or residential setting.
