‘BSO On Your Doorstep’, an initiative made possible thanks to support from the Weston Culture Fund, will see a selection of our musicians playing across locations in Bristol, Plymouth and Sidmouth, amongst others. Audiences will be able to enjoy a range of repertoire in person with music played from Beethoven, Dvořák, Mozart to Tchaikovsky.

We can’t wait to once again be able to connect with our wonderfully supportive and loyal audiences across the South West and to bring live music directly to local communities!

Socially-distanced audiences will be able to enjoy performances in Sidmouth Parish Church (Sat 10 Jul), St George’s, Bristol (Wed 21 Jul), and Plymouth’s Guildhall (Tues 27 Jul). There will be a number of Family and Relaxed performances throughout the region, too — you can find all the details here.

Chief Executive, Dougie Scarfe, said, “Ordinarily, we’d have played around 150 concerts in 40 venues during the last year — instead we’ve kept going with a series of livestreamed concerts — and now, thanks to support from the Weston Culture Fund, we’re ready to get back out on the road to see our loyal audiences who have helped us in keeping the music alive!”
