Amongst the many musical treats of the Season, at Portsmouth Guildhall we are particularly excited about spending an evening with Chief Conductor Mark Wigglesworth on the podium. As well as welcoming some new faces to the BSO this season – including our new Calleva Assistant Conductor Michal Oren – we will be seeing some friends of old, too, like Andrew Litton and Pete Harrison, and shining the spotlight close to home as our Principal Cello Jesper Svedberg takes the soloist spot. We’re very lucky to have such talented musicians here at the BSO!
And at Fareham Live, we can look forward to two nights with conductor Tom Fetherstonhaugh – one to ring in the New Year with soprano Claudia Boyle and another celebrating the best of classical music with pianist Isata Kanneh-Mason.
