Diane is a Chartered Management Accountant and an experienced senior leader and Board member.

She spent most of her working life in further and higher education. She was previously Principal & Chief Executive of Bournemouth & Poole College and believes passionately that access to education and the arts empowers all members of our community to live safe, prosperous and fulfilling lives.

Diane is also the Senior Independent Member on the Board of Falmouth University and a Director of Coombe House School and she chairs committees responsible for finance, audit and/or risk for both organisations.

Diane joined the BSO Board in 2025 and is the Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee.
