Each season, in addition to our symphonic performances, we also tour smaller, daytime concerts to enjoy in the same friendly and welcoming atmosphere that you’d expect from the BSO. What’s even more, our light music Cake Concerts are accompanied by delicious cake, a warm drink, and conversation.

Performed live by a trio of professional musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the Cake Concerts take place in familiar, community venues, including village halls and churches.

Open to anyone who is looking for something different to break up the day, the concerts have proven especially popular for those living with dementia and their carers. Everyone is welcome.
