Join us from 12.15pm in Exeter University Great Hall for tea, coffee and light lunch bites.

The team will be on hand to welcome you in the foyer before we head into the concert alongside thousands of children to watch the magic of the Schools’ Concert unfold!

During the concert, composer James Redwood will introduce an exciting programme that fuses symphonic music with education, teaching children not just about the arts, but also about the four elements – fire, earth, water and wind. This is no normal concert… before attending, the children and their teachers will be learning and practising two interactive pieces that have been devised with Dorset primary schools. In these two pieces, all the children in the hall will come together to sing, play and perform body percussion routines alongside the Orchestra. As ever, this is a fun-packed way to experience the BSO’s work with primary schools across the region, and see the impact your support makes.
