We return to Bristol Beacon at the end of January to perform the world premiere of Odyssey by Jonathan Dove, a composer whose popular operatic writing has a reputation for creating wonder and enriching lives.
Odyssey charts the plight of refugee communities through the Mediterranean region, and soprano Francesca Chiejina and tenor Thando Mjandano perform leading roles. The City of Bristol Choir, Bristol Youth Choir and a chorus of community singers unite with the Orchestra under the baton of conductor David Ogden.
