We are very excited to deliver insightful and educational concerts each autumn to young people studying GCSE or BTEC music across the South West, in partnership with Music Hubs. The repertoire is selected by your local music hub from a menu of set works designed to support all exam boards. Concerts last 1 hour 30 minutes and they include performance, analysis and live composition based on ideas sent in by schools, presented by BSO Associate Patrick Bailey.

Depending on the repertoire chosen, there are opportunities for young musicians to perform on stage with the ensemble. This is a fantastic chance for students to refine their skills and perform to their peers.

If you want to further enhance your students music education by attending our KS4 concert, please contact your local music hub who will be able to provide further details.

The students were so engaged you could hear a pin drop. Each instrument and piece of music was explained very well which made the concert enjoyable and easy to follow.
