Every year we travel to SEND schools throughout the South and South West to provide an in-school relaxed concert experience built for SEND pupils.
Performed by a reduced orchestra featuring musicians from BSO Resound and alumni from National Open Youth Orchestra, these interactive presented concerts are specifically designed to be accessible to students with a range of needs. Featuring well-known pieces from a range of musical genres and with Makaton signing throughout, these events have a fun and relaxed concert atmosphere.
As with our Explore the Orchestra series, students have the opportunity to learn about different instruments and listen to brilliant music in their own school, ensuring that all students have access to orchestral music.
The BSO have yet again provided and outstanding educational and musical experience for our students. They captivated the imagination of our students and brought them a great deal of happiness
