Main responsibilities will include transporting, loading and unloading and setting up the orchestra’s instruments and stage equipment. You will have the ability to work as part of a team, using your own initiative and under pressure.

Based in Poole, the role involves a considerable amount of travel, particularly across the South and South West and ideally you will be HGV qualified or have a willingness to gain your licence in order to drive the BSO’s lorry or other vehicles.

Due to the nature of the Orchestra’s work pattern, this role involves extensive travel, evening, weekend and overnight work.

Salary £24,000 – £26,000 depending upon experience

Interviews will be held in Poole or online on Monday 7th August with a second practical interview being held in Poole on Tuesday 5th September.
