Join the Teatime Trio for the first Cake Concert of the new year! Our relaxed Cake Concert this January is at Wimborne Methodist Church. All welcome, whether living with or without dementia.
Cake concerts feature music from popular classical hits to light film music performed by musicians from Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by a complimentary cup of tea and a slice of cake.
Music can have a profound impact on people living with dementia, encouraging reminiscence, improved communication and cognition as well as boosting wellbeing.
Whether living in the community or care & residential homes, we welcome everyone and the venue is fully accessible.
The concert is very relaxed and audience members are free to speak and move around as they wish. Half an hour of playing followed by a hot drink and delicious slice of cake (or two!) then another half an hour of playing from our wonderful Eluned, Kate and Owain.
