Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is now recognised as one of the most dynamic orchestras in the UK, with its distinguished history, commitment to high artistic ideals and trail-blazing work using the power of music to change lives both within the concert hall and beyond.

The BSO seeks a dynamic individual to work within the BSO Participate team in developing and implementing the Company’s ground-breaking BSO Participate programme.

You will work with the Head of BSO Participate & BSO Participate Programme Manager on the delivery of Bbs, Blast and Rising Talent programme strands including workshops in schools across the region.

You will lead on Schools’ Concerts and all logistics surrounding these. You will also lead and develop schools’ & curriculum activities and resources to support all aspects of our work with young people including Set Works LIVE!

You will be the lead contact on BSO Participate work with schools and early years centres and design and deliver pre-concert events for children and young people.

You will lead on BSO Work Experience and internship programmes.

You will also have the opportunity to assist with larger BSO Participate projects within the Resonate and Boost strands. You will also assist the Head of Participate with administration tasks, research and logistics as required.
