Join us before Mighty Brahms as we catch up with superstar violinist James Ehnes, ahead of his performance of Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No.2.

Function Room 2 at Lighthouse will be open from 6.15pm, before the conversation gets underway promptly at 6.30pm. Our regular interviewer Nigel Gayler will chat to James about his life and career in music, before a discussion that delves into the evening’s concerto – which James thinks is very close in style to the ever-popular ballet music from Romeo and Juliet. We’ll also open the floor to questions, so do raise a hand if there’s something you are eager to ask.
