We know and see first-hand in our Cake Concerts how the power of music connects people with each other and with loved ones in the moment, as well as with past experiences.

Whilst lockdown has meant we are not able to deliver our Cake Concerts in person, we have created a Digital Cake Concert for you to enjoy and hope you can share in an afternoon of music with our Teatime Trio, from the comfort of your home.

Presented by BSO Associate Hugh Nankivell who will guide you through the concert, this online performance sees a trio of BSO musicians perform a selection of music. From popular classical hits to light music, along with interesting facts and conversation starters.

You are encouraged to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake from the comfort of home.

The concert is free to watch but you will be required to order your digital ticket and set up an email account with the BSO so that we can send you the password. Just click on the Book now button.

The concert livestream will be accessible on an encrypted page as an embedded Vimeo video stream. It is best to watch through an up-to-date browser (we recommend Google Chrome on a PC and Safari on an Apple device). You can then connect to your TV or HIFI via a cable connection. An Amazon Firestick is also compatible using the Amazon Silk browser direct on a TV as well as most default browsers on SMART TVs.
