There will then be a final day of rehearsal and performance on Saturday 21 May at Portsmouth Cathedral (Anglican).

This term is dedicated to performing the world premiere of Teresa Barlow’s reflection on a year of great upheaval, events that resounded around the world, and when climate change really came to the fore – Requiem 2020.

Vocal scores and audio teaching tracks will be posted online for download. Up-to-date information and news will be posted on the private BSO Voices members page on Facebook so do sign up to that if you are not already – you will need to request permission to join so that we know we are secure.

The fee for the term is £90 to help cover costs. Application is available online by clicking the Book now link on the right. You will then be sent the password to get access to the online resources.

Singing in a choir is a brilliant way to meet new people and it has been proven to instil a sense of happiness and increase wellbeing. BSO Voices usually performs at least three times a year under the direction of conductor, Pete Harrison with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. There are no auditions to join and the ability to read music is not essential.
