Re-live The Chalk Legend

Enjoy five minutes with a cast of over 350 and re-live the most exciting moments from the world premiere of The Chalk Legend, the BSO's trailblazing event for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Dorset. Filmed at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy on the 18 & 19 May, The Chalk Legend tells the story of the Viking skeletons unearthed during the construction of the Weymouth Relief Road.

Led by the BSO, the project saw our new music group, Kokoro, perform alongside the Dorset Youth Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Chorus & Youth Chorus, Youth Choruses of Dorset schoolchildren coached by Voiceworks, 2BU Youth Dance Company, Portrait Youth Dance Company and actors from Drama Centre London. Students from the Arts University College at Bournemouth designed the costumes.
